This project aims to reconfigure the underutilized spaces within the subject site in order to unlock the density potential of the existing lots. By creating a different set of spatial and policy conditions, the neighborhood can grow organically without needing to erase the existing housing stock. the new environment will provide the opportunity for existing owners and residents to live and age in pace, while their surrounding can flourish with new homes, families, and a diversity of amenities and uses. It will give landowners more flexibility to explore creative ways to develop their lot, which will lead to renters having more housing options to choose from Ultimately, this proposal aims to define a new set of rules that promotes the growth of not just homes, but neighborhoods.
